In NYC. Put on my black NATO surplus trench coat and tie and visited the 2 semi-public spy "stores:" Quark and Spy Shop (NY, Bev Hills, Miami, London, Milan, Paris, Mexico, Cairo, Moscow [!], sez card). Both had locked doors and personal escorts/agents to answer questions. Both said they do booming businesses, much of it foreign. Very discrete, and a tad creepy. Got both catalogs, as well as a videotape from SS. Excellent surveys of smallest wireless devices and video cameras, among many other things (like lead-filled gloves and bullet-proof umbrellas). Will be back thursday and will bring them in. The catalogs, that is.
